By booking or participating in a session at Brixton Sauna Garden, I confirm that I have read and understood the following conditions.

1. Health and Safety
I understand that sauna use and cold-water immersion may not be suitable for everyone. If I have a medical condition that could be affected by heat or cold, including heart or blood pressure conditions, respiratory or metabolic disorders, or if I am pregnant, I will seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.
I will not use the sauna or cold plunge while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs or any substance that may impair my judgement, coordination or physical ability.

2. Understanding the Risks
I understand that sauna use and cold-water immersion carry inherent risks, including overheating, heat exhaustion, cold shock, dizziness, fainting, dehydration and slips or falls.
I agree to participate responsibly, remain aware of how I feel, and leave the sauna or cold plunge immediately if I feel unwell. I will follow all safety instructions provided by staff and will ask for assistance if needed.

3. Clothing and Hygiene
Swimwear covering the lower body must be worn at all times. Upper-body swimwear is optional, although recommended during mixed sessions.
I agree to shower before using the sauna or cold plunge, sit on a towel while in the sauna, and follow all hygiene and safety instructions.

4. Etiquette and Behaviour
Brixton Sauna Garden is a welcoming, calm and respectful community space. I agree to respect other guests, keep noise at an appropriate level and follow staff instructions regarding sauna temperature, the use of water on sauna stones and the safe use of the facilities.
Aggressive, abusive or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the premises without a refund, in accordance with the applicable booking terms.

5. Personal Belongings and Lockers
Lockers are provided for convenience. I am responsible for securing my personal belongings and for any padlock or key I use.

Brixton Sauna Garden accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded. If a padlock must be forcibly removed because a key has been lost, a reasonable charge may apply, provided this has been communicated in advance.

6. Responsibility and Liability
I understand that participation in sauna and cold-plunge activities involves risks that cannot be entirely eliminated.
I agree to take reasonable care of my own health and safety and to follow all instructions. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits any liability or legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law.

7. Agreement and Confirmation
By booking or attending a session, I confirm that:
— I have read and understood this Participant Waiver & Safety Agreement.
— I will follow Brixton Sauna Garden’s safety instructions and facility rules.
— I understand the potential risks associated with sauna use and cold-water immersion.
— I will inform a member of staff if I feel unwell or require assistance.
— I understand that this waiver does not replace Brixton Sauna Garden’s full Terms and Conditions or remove any legal rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
