Brixton Sauna Garden Operations Manager full-time

We are looking for a operations manager who is organized, reliable and welcoming and aligns with the values of the Brixton Sauna Garden.

We are a community sauna in the heart of Brixton, open for all. Our vision is to bring the calming and healing qualities of sauna and cold plunge to the community. Bring people together and create an inviting oasis of calm, relaxation and belonging in the buzzing center of Brixton.

The role of the manager will be overlooking all operational aspects of the Brixton Sauna Garden, from getting the sauna ready every day, hosting sessions, arranging the staff rota, creating and following health and safety and operational protocols, overlooking maintenance and some hands on maintenance work. Making sure all cleaning protocols are followed and supplies are stocked. Overlooking the website and bookings, taking in person walk in bookings, answering inquiries on all media. Working with management to keep up with recruiting and future planning. Booking and arranging special events and leasing with outside agents.

Requirements and Experience: 2 years in hospitality, health or event management; track record of managing people. Ideally up to date first aid and confident of social media user. A natural ability to connect with people and a dedication to non violent communication.

Salary: £38K full time

full and part-time

We have vacancies for sauna hosts to work in our new Brixton Sauna Garden.

We are a community sauna in the heart of Brixton, open for all. Our vision is to bring the calming and healing qualities of sauna and cold plunge to the community. Bring people together and create an inviting oasis of calm, relaxation and belonging in the buzzing center of Brixton.

The role involves getting the sauna ready, preparing tea and water station, welcoming guests to the sauna. Keeping the sauna clean and tidy during the session. Explaining the sauna routine and overlooking the safe use of the facilities.

Requirements: experience in hospitality, a track record of customer service, the ability to engage with people. We are looking for a reliable and dedicated co worker who takes pride in the work and can work independently. We expect cleanliness and attention to detail. We as a company are dedicated to non violent communication and the company is plant based.

Salary: £14/h
